Workshop information

This workshop is approximately 3 hours in length and largely practical in nature. The workshop will enable coaches to explore how to use the Athletics 365 App and associated resources. Including the brand-new Athletics 365 XL resource.

Athletics 365 is a globally recognised Athlete Development programme, with high quality associated resources. The Athletics 365 Curriculum underpins all Athletics Coach Education courses in the UK and was the winner of the 2014 European Athletics Innovation Award.

This practical workshop will cover:

  • How to use the Athletics 365 app and coaching resources;
  • Practical examples of Athletics 365 XL in action;
  • How and when to use games or drills to develop skills;
  • How to design inclusive coaching sessions;
  • Assessing an athletes’ skill stages.

Who is the Workshop for? The workshop is aimed at Coaching Assistants, Athletics Coaches, Young Leaders and established coaches and practitioners wishing to refresh and consolidate their knowledge. The workshop will be tailored on the day to address the prime needs of the audience.

Any coach in attendance will also be given a complementary 3 months FREE trial of the Athletics 365 XL resource. *Please note anyone who has recently attended the Athletics Coach Award (Since April 2018) should already have free access to this resource.

who is this workshop for?

This workshop is for Coaching Assistants, Athletics Coaches, those who are new to using Athletics 365 and/or youth development, established coaches wanting to build confidence and competence in this area and experienced practitioners wishing to refresh and consolidate knowledge.
